Parent Meeting: August 23, 2023
Our first parent meeting of the year took place on Wednesday, 8/23. The information covered included introducing our new director, Ms. Popovec, our calendar for this year, Texas Thespians, and our Parent Booster Club. For more detailed information, see the linked PowerPoint.
Student Meeting: August 31, 2023
Our first student meeting of the school year took place on August 31, 2023. We introduced our new directors and officer board, as well as went over audition information for both actors and technicians for our fall production of Clue. Additional information covered included Texas Thespians 2023, fees and fines, and our upcoming merchandise for this season.
Student Meeting: September 27, 2023
Our September meeting focused on Newcomer’s Night, our first JV production of the year and fundraising! This year we will be fundraising with WiddyUp, a video platform controlled by the students. Also included is information regarding Texas Thespians Convention, which we will be attending November 15 - November 18 in Grapevine, Texas. Be sure to be paying all your fees! This includes any outstanding fees, including Thespians and Clue.
Student Meeting: October 18, 2023
Our October meeting recaps our recent visit to the Alley Theatre, Newcomer’s Night, Clue, and our upcoming trip to Texas Thespians Convention. Our JV class and cast of Clue did amazingly on their respective productions. We recently held a field trip to the Alley to see American Mariachi as well. Until October 31, we will also be holding a Halloween Food Drive, so come by the Black Box to drop any food off! We also announced our musical for this year, Mamma Mia!
